Get in on the ground floor! We have an exciting and unique opportunity for a special individual interested in promoting animal welfare and combating the pet overpopulation crisis in Rhode Island. The Ocean State Animal Coalition is seeking a veterinarian (or two part-time veterinarians) for The Rhode Island Community Spay / Neuter Clinic, a high-volume (30+ per day), high-quality spay/neuter facility scheduled to open in early 2010 in Warwick, Rhode Island. The clinic will provide services to shelters, rescue groups, feral cat groups and targeted low-income pet owners. Work in a newly designed, state-of-the-art facility during week day hours only (no nights, weekends or holidays!). This position offers training, a competitive salary and a complete benefits package.
